Help getting connected: Get Skype on your computer

Chances are you've already got Skype on your machine and you are familiar with its use. But, for those that haven't, this page is for anyone who needs help with Skype. Skype is a reliable, private and secure form of online communication.

Getting Connected
Getting connected to Skype and starting an online Skype video session couldn't be easier! First you need some kit. I use the first one.

These headsets/chatpacks have everything you need to get connected for your Skype session, just click on the one you fancy to purchase it online. Remember, some newer laptops and desktops may have some of this equipment already built in. For example, it's quite common for a laptop to have a webcam in the lid at the top of the screen.
